Can I Help You?

I’m sure you’re familiar with the expression, “You can’t help those who won’t help themselves.” But I wonder… can’t we? Does this mean we don’t even try? And I’ve got to ask myself, “Have I ever used this old adage as an excuse to not help?” The hard truth—yes, at times, I have. Have you? Be honest, it’s just you and me here.

Be Loved

Who doesn’t want to be loved? We all want it, we all crave it and we all want to receive it and feel it. And when we give love, we want what we’re offering  to be accepted. My heart overflows with joy and hope when the love I have to give to another is received then returned. A Good Report

If it’s a challenge to find a good report on the news or social media, maybe try turning that off for a bit and shift your focus intentionally to something that offers a good report. We are in a time of extreme challenge, no doubt about it. So when I feel overwhelmed with bad reports…

Fan The Flame

Fan the flame. I imagine Timothy was feeling a lot of despair, yet, he is instructed to fan the flame! How exactly is he supposed to do that? How are we?

Strength For Today

It’s one thing to know what’s coming, I can brace myself, prepare myself and pray specifically for that. But to not know?
